I Love Jesus but I Drink a Little

I’m an Ellen DeGeneres fan, although I seldom catch her show.  The latest take flying around involves a conversation with an 88 year old woman.  It is quite funny.  It reminds me when I watch the late shows or some of the daily talk shows, some of the best bits are the ones with every day folks – typically the very young or the elderly.  There are always pearls of wisdom in the honesty they put forth.  If you missed the conversation with Gladys, click here and enjoy this sage women’s words of advice.

That was great! My big laugh for the day. I wonder how many people today will take a drink and say: “I love Jesus but I drink a little!” :)

This cracked me up. Ellen is so down to earth that people will tell her anything.

Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make life so, right in the middle of it we die, lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.
